The Hazel Dormouse is a tiny little creature, with large dark eyes who like to feast on berries and nuts. In Autumn they gather produce ready to hibernate, and when you spot them they are often climbing trees. They are greatly endangered due to their ancient woodland habitat and need our protection to conserve their home.
