Seaweed II

Kelp, a type of large seaweed, plays a crucial role in marine ecosystems worldwide. It provides habitat and food for many marine species, from fish to seals. Currently, kelp faces challenges due to climate change, which affects ocean temperatures and nutrient availability. In some areas, overharvesting for commercial purposes, such as food and biofuel, also threatens kelp populations. Conservation efforts are vital to protect kelp beds and their biodiversity. By managing coastal development, reducing pollution, and promoting sustainable harvesting practices, we can help ensure kelp continues to thrive.
