Tree Height

Oak trees in the UK can reach impressive heights, often growing to be 20-40 meters tall - that is the same size as a Boeing 737 plane!

Clare makes prints using a technique called Woodcutting. This involves carving designs into wood blocks using tools of different widths.

The Mighty Oak

With help from the Woodland Trust and the Forestry Commission, Clare's dad has taken it upon himself to plant 2,700 new trees. It's his way of aiming to do something positive for the environment and trying to ensure there'll still be trees and connected wildlife for the next few generations to enjoy - what a hero!
