Etching and painting.

Memory, colour and process mix together in my work. Of all the processes I was obliged to learn as a young art student, etching was the first I bonded with. With this piece I have used it to suggest a geological ‘slice’ and have achieved a depth/embossment by ‘biting’ right through the copperplate.
